Win a Blossoming Ancient World of Warcraft Pet!

This competition is now closed. Congratulations to the winner, Amie M. and thank you to everyone who entered!

Keep an eye out on the blog for another competition announcement in the next few weeks.

It’s been quiet around these parts lately, which is mostly a good thing because it means I’ve been getting some work coming in that has been keeping me busy. The downside is that I have had approximately zero time to even think about video games, let alone play any! So, to celebrate the fact that I survived my first business expo thingy and can now return to Azeroth mostly unheeded, I’ve decided to host a giveaway!

To score yourself a cute little Blossoming Ancient World of Warcraft in-game pet, simply follow the instructions in the Rafflecopter giveaway below. Entries will close at 12.00am on the 25th of May 2014.

Good luck, have fun!

I think the feature I’m looking forward to the most in Draenor is the stat allocation. It’ll be pretty nice for hybrid players to be able to legitimately swap roles and have fun. I may actually dust off my Paladin and use him for something since I won’t have to gather three sets of gear just for random queues.

    • http://www.mamaneedsmana.com/ Neri

That is definitely right up there for me as well, especially since I seem to just naturally gravitate towards hybrids! I do hope that queue times ease up a bit, though. I always end up defaulting to healer simply because I get impatient! :P

Good luck with your entry! :)

    • Elizabeth Alford

      I second this.

  • Syrco

I’ve always wanted this pet :D
I’m looking forward to a new world to explore and new content!

    • http://www.mamaneedsmana.com/ Neri

Original Outlands is going to be nothing short of awesome to explore. I can’t wait for it!

Good luck with your entry :D

  • Nikolite

I am looking forward to all the new areas to explore and the quests to do

  • Amie Meeks

Welcome back to the world of azeroth :)

    • http://www.mamaneedsmana.com/ Neri

      Thank you! :)

  • Ashley

I’m so glad I stumbled across your blog. I’m a mom blogger too, and geeky parent and can’t seem to find other parents like my husband and I! I’m looking forward to the Garrisons in Warlords, also a NEW area to level :)

    • http://www.mamaneedsmana.com/ Neri

I’m glad you did, too! It really is so hard to find others like us in the ‘real’ world. Good luck with your entries :)

  • Julia Eve

I’m excited to explore Draenor! It seems so beautiful and it will be so interesting to see what Outlands looked like before it became Outlands.

Also, I’m really glad you’re doing this giveaway because otherwise I wouldn’t have found you and your blog! I’m excited to read more of your posts; it seems like the perfect place for me! :D

    • http://www.mamaneedsmana.com/ Neri

Thanks, Julia! I’m really glad you found your way here! Good luck with your entry :)

  • Roxanne MacDonald

Can’t wait for garrisons in WoD

    • http://www.mamaneedsmana.com/ Neri

I’m interested to see how they play out, as well. It’ll be awesome to have a place of my own, but as a self-confessed hater of the farm for no real reason, I’m worried it may fall into that category for me. Ah well, time will tell!

Good luck with your entry :)

  • Vikirnoff

I can’t wait to get my hands on Garrisons and explore Draenor!

    • http://www.mamaneedsmana.com/ Neri

Garrisons are an interesting one for me. On one hand, it’s going to be fabulous to finally have a place to call my own! Butttt on the other hand I hated Farmville, so I’m torn :P

      Good luck with your entry!

A pet that changes with the seasons, so neat! Definitely a must have! :D

    • http://www.mamaneedsmana.com/ Neri

It’s very cool, indeed! Though, as an Australian, it gets a bit confusing at times because the seasons are opposite to what we’re experiencing here. It’s still neat, none the less! Good luck with your entry :)

      • DC

I only wish my druid would change color with the seasons as well! Lol! :)

        • http://www.mamaneedsmana.com/ Neri

I would dust off my old druid in a heartbeat if they did that!

          • DC

My tree druid has been my main since vanilla! I even have a 2nd druid for bear tank and kitty duty, lol. :) My holy pally has been flavor of the month for the last couple of expansions, pally and disc priest have been pretty OP for healing in Panda. :D

          • http://www.mamaneedsmana.com/ Neri

I know a few people like that who have multiple druids! I myself played resto from Wrath up until I got a massive case of burnout in the early days of MoP, when I retired from normal raiding.

I know what you mean about pally and priest being OP! Absorbs are mighty good at sniping heals and turning HoTs into overheals.

          • DC

I have every healing class, I have heal OCDs. Even my hunter is a spacecow with the racial heal and a macro to use a spirit beast pet heal on herself:) Pally healing is so good for instant gratification heals between holy shock and eternal flame, hehe. But it’s so nice to see green circles everywhere. Healing is so much fun. We just finally got caught up with a little raiding after taking a nice long break to have a baby, who got named after one of my characters so she could, in a way, be named after mommy. Mommy & Daddy met thanks to WoW. :)

          • http://www.mamaneedsmana.com/ Neri

Ah, a fellow healing connoisseur! I too have every healing class at 90, though their gear and skill varies wildly. I’m not as dedicated as you, though! Smart thinking with the hunter macro.

Congratulations on your little one! I love hearing about others who found their love in-game. My husband and I first met at college and hated each other instantly. A few years later we ended up in the same guild as each other, and the rest is history. We’re now expecting our second child in August. Life works in mysterious ways :)

          • DC

It sure does! I didn’t want to transfer to a different server, but some friends talked me into it… shortly before they stopped playing. I got left behind, ended up meeting my honey bunny there. :) My healers have varies gear as well, but the pally and tree are highest atm. So far I’m at the healers, the bear, the hunter and a DK tank that I popped up with the new expansion purchase so that I could finally have something with max engineering and blacksmithing… always hated leveling those. Lol! Been stalling leveling my last few as they are only dps classes, dps frustrates me… I hate chasing stuff trying to melee. :) At least with all of my healers, if anyone needs a healer I can help with something no matter what they already have in their group. Love being versatile! :) Grats on expecting the new little minion! My older two were given their own wow accounts for xmas and we all leveled pandas together with the account links, Lol. :D

I’m looking forward to the garrisons, but honestly this expansion hasn’t really excited me.

    • http://www.mamaneedsmana.com/ Neri

I know what you mean. I think the biggest issue for me is that it is still so far away, and I have a lot of exciting things happening IRL before that point that WoD seems like a distant dream.

      • http://krystellemt.blogspot.com *aka* Krystelle

Yes! I think once the release date gets closer, I’ll become more excited for it. Right now I have too many other things going to really be focused on it.
