Games We Played in March

I’m alive! March was absolutely off the hook. My 30th was on March 1 but I very nearly didn’t make it, after we had a car accident on a deserted highway at 4am. It’s a miracle that the car didn’t flip and no-one was hurt. However, the car is a write-off and we’re down to one vehicle while we wait for insurance to come in.

Now, usually only having one car wouldn’t be too much of an issue, except something even more insane happened. I got a job, you guys. Basically, I’m going to spend a bit of time looking at amazingly pretty things that SO would not look good on me as I am right now and let myself pick an item when I reach certain milestones.

Crossroads: Dreams vs. Reality

A little while ago I read this fantastic post by Nerd Burger that talks about turning 30. In it, Cazz mentions that she is, ‘not what people want her to be’ but she really doesn’t care. It’s reassuring seeing someone who is my age be so confident in her decisions, especially when I myself only have a few months left in my 20’s and seem to constantly feel the pull over what I want to be doing with my life versus what I *should* be doing with it.
