After reading an article on what classic video games should be remade (and then feeling inferior because I never played any of those games growing up), I got thinking about what games I consider to be classics.
In the past I have briefly touched on how some games have shaped me into the person I am today, but I never really expanded on why I consider them to be the best games of my lifetime — why they are classics to me.

February started off as a pretty rough month for anyone who was playing World of Warcraft. Whether it was the sudden, unexpected closure of WoW Insider or the rumblings of disatisfaction over the lack of content in 6.1, there was a lot of bad juju flying around the WoW Blogsphere.
To counter it, one of my favourite bloggers, Matty, started up #28daysofwowlove.

While I am no longer actively playing World of Warcraft, I still love the game very much and wholeheartedly agree that it could do with some positive press!

For someone who generally doesn’t do resolutions or goals, I wrote not one, but two posts about them at the start of the year. So, uh, how is it working out for me? Unsurprisingly, working towards my goals has been a bit of a hit and miss, mostly because I can barely even remember what those goals were. Oops!
If you’re following me on Pinterest you may have noticed that I suffer from a serious case of crochet Amigurumi awe. Unfortunately for me, I am useless when it comes to crochet so I thought I would share these 10 patterns inspired by video games for any crocheter out there who actually knows what on earth they’re doing!
Once made, these patterns would make a fantastic gift for the gamer in your life, or serve as a great way to gamify your own home or office space.
After reading Cymre’s latest post, I thought I would head over to the Wowhead profiler and have a quick look at what my army of Blood Elves will look like when they get their make overs come patch 6.1.
While they aren’t quite complete yet, I am very impressed with what I saw. So hot, and very sassy! I absolutely love, love, love what Blizzard have done with the race so far.
Last week I ran the first Tuesday Survey and I was overwhelmed by your responses. It sparked some wonderful debate within the World of Warcraft Twitter community, as well as some great blog posts. So, let’s take a look at the results, shall we?
